Developing Relationships with Nature Spirit Allies, a series with Adam Davis
March 31, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm$30 – $75
These late Winter workshops will provide opportunities to establish, develop, and continue relationships with particular aspects of nature. We can become more aware and intentional about how we relate with the nature energies that shape us. We can explore the potential transformations that are available to us through ongoing relationships with animals, plants, rocks, minerals, mountains, rivers, and other beings.
All workshops will be held in the classroom at Radiance. The cost for each workshop is $30 in advance, $35 on the day of the class. If you would like to pay for the entire series in advance, the cost is $75 for all three. The workshops are stand-alone and complement each other. Feel free to come to one, two, or all three. All backgrounds are welcome. Call Radiance at 717-290-1517, or stop in to register.

What to expect in Workshop 3: Conference of Nature Spirits
This gathering is a great oportunity to come together and represent aspects or beings of nature that we have been working with. We will employ some artistic and shamanic exercises to get into character including the blessing of masks and/or costumes made before the workshop. Once in character we have the opportunity to vocalize our role in the earth system, trials and tribulations, hopes and fears, reactions to human interactions, outlook for our environment and survival, and messages for humans. Celebrants are encouraged to spend time creating masks and/or costumes before the day of the workshop, materials and space for making masks will be available during the hour before the workshop, and your voice is welcome in the council regardless of whether you bring a mask.
Adam Davis has been facilitating nature spirituality workshops at healthy-living fairs, environmental conferences, and other community events since 1998 in addition to teaching about the workings of the Earth in the college classroom. He enjoys combining multiple perspectives to explore integrated, holistic ways of working with nature. His book “Connecting with the Land: Nature Relationships in Multiple Dimensions” describes techniques used in past workshops and that have come to Adam through diverse additional pathways of exploration.
