Mulling Spices


Keep a pot of cider and mulling spice simmering on the stove–or in a crockpot–to provide your home with a welcome-home aroma and greet guests and family members with a tart, spicy-special beverage.

Our own blend of herbs and spices is perfect for making warm spiced cider or wine for your holiday gatherings, or outside around the fire pit.

Mulling is a centuries-old practice in which various spices and fruit essences are infused into heated juices, wines, and ciders.

Fill a muslin bag or spice ball.  Heat 1 quart cider or wine and 1/8 cup spices together; bring to a simmer, turn off heat, cover & steep for 15-20 minutes.  Strain and serve hot or cold.

Ingredients: Organic cinnamon, allspice, orange and lemon peels, nutmeg, star anise, cloves, fenugreek, ginger.
