Reiki is a simple, beautiful form of energy work that allows us to utilize the natural inclination of the Universe toward healing. We learn to open ourselves as conduits for the divine healing energy of the Universe, in whatever way you understand divinity. The gentle, basic hands-on technique can be learned in one day, and you will be able to start giving Reiki to yourself and others after this class. Reiki is deeply relaxing, helps to alleviate stress, and restores vital energy allowing the body to move toward wellness.
Experience the healing energy of Usui Reiki in this class taught by consulting herbalist, energy worker, and Reiki Master & Teacher, Sarah Preston. The class will be held on Sunday, April 7, 2024 from 10:30 am to 4 pm. You will:
- Learn the modern history of Reiki
- Hear a brief introduction to the three levels, or degrees, of Reiki
- Receive the Attunement to the first degree of Reiki
- Practice giving Reiki to yourself and others
- Receive a Reiki I Certificate after completion of this class
For the protection of everyone attending the class, if you have any symptoms of cold, flu, or any other virus, we ask that you not attend. Dress in comfortable layers. Consider bringing slippers! Bring a water bottle & lunch. Market is not open on Sundays. Class size will be limited to 9 people, so early registration is recommended. Registration must be in advance. The cost for this all-day class is $150, which includes a copy of the book Essential Reiki by Diane Stein and a $50 non-refundable deposit. You must pay the $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your place. If registering online, choose the local pick-up option so you don’t get charged for shipping.
