She says, “Each day I collect the rose petals from the previous day’s blooms, at the point where they’re ready to fall off on their own. The pollen has been collected by all sorts of bees. This timing of petal collection ensures that there’s no damage to the rosehip forming underneath, and plenty of room and sunshine for the next buds to open.”
