Flags are individually hand printed onto high quality 100% cotton. All exposed edges are sewn for added durability and a nice, finished look. Ink is heat set and permanent. Flags are sewn securely to the ribbon, which is sturdy and strong.

Flags look great hanging outside in the garden, on the porch, over an entry or along a fence.

Flags come with over a foot of ribbon on each side for hanging, which is plenty for looping around and tying to fences, gates, over a window or door, etc. The ribbon is sturdy and can also be pinned or nailed in place.

Flags won’t need much care, and it’s best to NOT wash them. But, if they need a little freshening up, we simply recommend a quick dusting and a touch up with an iron on the cotton setting. If you must wash, spot clean carefully with cold water and gentle soap, and lay flat to dry (please don’t machine wash or dry).

Block printing is a relief printing technique where each time a print is made, the block is inked and hand-pressed, so every single print is unique. You’ll see the variation in each print, which adds to the charm of your flags. See our About section for more information and photos of the process.
